2. I was always naturally curious as to why I was drawn more to some things than other things. I soon figured out that those particular things were a step in the right direction for me. A move towards discovering myself and creating my happiness. Once I figured that out, I had to think, ‘am I really the person to do this?’ It scared the crap out of me. My dream seems far bigger than anything I could ever imagine, could I do that? The more I thought about it, the more I began to think that, perhaps, if the universe put it into my life then there must be a reason for it. Then there must be a chance that I can succeed at it. If I give it my all and do it authentically, then what do I have to lose after all? At worst, I’ll learn something more about myself, and at best, I’ll live the life of my dreams. Now that’s a dream worth pursuing.

3. I often think that life is precisely about the journey, not the destination. The best way to live is to be not only present and ambitious but to improve yourself. Perhaps you’re not as open-minded as you wish you could be. Maybe, you wish you knew more than you already do. Maybe, you want to to have a quality that you admire in others. Whatever it is, look for ways that you can improve yourself. What would make you be a better person than who you already are? Deep down you know those things. Whatever you are seeking is seeking you in return. You have to take actionable steps toward being that person and everything around you will begin to change for the better too.

4. This quote from The Alchemist is pretty straightforward. If you are yearning for something more significant and sense that something is missing, then you’re probably right. Don’t be afraid to try something because you may fail and look like a fool to others. Instead, be afraid not to try something and miss out on the bigger and better things. In the least, failing gives you a better idea of what you need to change for the next time. It doesn’t mean that you can’t do it, it means you need to change up your strategies. Look for failure as lessons. Go after what you want and aspire to be. If you don’t do it, then who will?
